I am a 48 year old mother of two grown children. My children are now 27 & 29 & have moved away following their career goals after graduating from UA.  I recently moved back to the Huntsville area where I was born and raised, after living in Birmingham for 8 years.  My first Nanny job was caring for three little girls. I was originally hired to care for the oldest when she was born and was blessed with caring for her sisters as they came along. I watched over these three as if they were my own for over five years until I had to move away. Then after I moved to Birmingham I was a Nanny to a sweet baby girl for over a year until they moved back to Kentucky. I was then a Nanny for a handsome baby boy for almost two years, until his Mommy got a Read more promotion at her job which consisted of them moving to Atlanta. It's never easy when any Nanny position ends because they all become like family to me, but I still feel blessed that I can help others with their little ones, as a mother I know how hard it is to have to work and still raise a family. I worked in the medical field for over fifteen years before deciding to Nanny full time. I loved my job but found helping others care for their little ones more rewarding. I have been around children all my life, and in raising two of my own, my house was always filled with children of all ages. I even coached T-ball for two years and coached cheerleading for three.  I feel blessed being able to help others have a sense of peace knowing their little ones are loved and cared for while they have to be away from them, I remember those days all to well myself.  In todays economy we need all the help we can get and I know how expensive daycare can be so this is my way of helping. I so love what I do, it almost feels wrong to call it work. =)
