My name is Brienna Kemp and I am 27 years old. I have been working with children my whole life. My mother owned a daycare when I was growing up and that is where I realized my passion for working with children. I started taking babysitting jobs for family and friends when I was 12 years old. I have also worked in two faith based childcare centers one of which was my most recent job. I was employed as an assistant teacher in a toddler class at Saint Peters CDC where I taught and lovingly cared for 5 to 12 children aging from 12-24 months old on a daily basis. It was a very rewarding job that kept me "on my toes" and brought me a lot of joy. However, after realizing I would prefer to work in an in home setting rather than a center, I have decided to Read more seek other opportunities. I would love to care for and teach children on a more one-on-one setting and be able to give the children I work with more undivided and quality attention and care. In addition to experience I also have a current CPR certification and have taken basic EMT courses where I learned basic first aid procedures and how to handle emergency situations. I have experience with children of all ages ranging from newborns to 12 years old however most of my experience is with infants and toddlers. I am easy to work with flexible with what hours might be needed for childcare. (I must also mention that I currently live in Birmingham however I will be moving to Auburn in July. I am looking for temporary positions from now until July in Birmingham and long term positions in Auburn from July on.)
