Growing up in a small town in Arkansas, family has always been important. Luckily, my family includes a lot of younger children that I've had the honor to watch over as they grow. The most beneficial, to myself, has definitely been my infant nephew, Garrett, who my mother took full custody of when I was around 14 years old. With her working a full time job and my father being disabled, that often left me to be the caregiver for Garrett, who is now 5. While still being young myself, I took it as a good thing to be able to learn the constant guidance and protection that a child needs to be given.
