I am a senior at the University of Arkansas studying human development and family sciences with an emphasis on child development. I've been babysitting since I first got CPR certified at the age of twelve. Since I was fifteen, I have had a nannying job every summer. I also have a large extended family full of infants and toddlers, giving me experience with children of all ages. For the past year and a half, I have been a teacher's aide for a class of two- and three-year-olds at the Jean Tyson Child Development Study Center. The experience and skills I have gained have prepared to handle children of all backgrounds and temperaments. Spending time with kids is one of the most meaningful things I feel I can do with my time. I hope to make a career out of it, so I think it's important for me to continue being Read more involved with kids while I'm in school.

We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
