My name is Katie Kennedy and I am a college student at the University of Arkansas studying Advertising & Public Relations. Almost every job I've had in the past five years has been related to childcare in some shape or form, and I am so thankful! I've been fortunate enough to nanny for the same family for the past three summers, meanwhile working as a lifeguard at a local country club. I am currently CPR and lifeguard certified through the American Red Cross. Other experience includes coaching tennis, working as a camp counselor at Kanakuk Kamps, tutoring kids at Washington Elementary, volunteering in childcare at New Heights Church and teaching P.E. classes through a local home-schooling program. Through each of these jobs I have learned the importance of patience, consistency, integrity and so much more. Children remind us to be curious -- to laugh more, to be creative and to Read more look at the world a little simpler.
