I am a single mother with 2 boys, 9 and 10. My youngest has autism and my oldest is well, on the verge of "teenhood." Being a single parent, I found myself in a constant work/home struggle. I was unable to be present and involved in their lives as much as I wanted or as much as they needed. I recently decided to start homeschooling and have taken a step back from the 9-5. Or in my case, 7-7 most of the time. I am looking for a family that would be ok with my children being present while babysitting, housekeeping or organizing.
