I actively enjoy the outdoors such as hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, basketball, ect. I was Crew Leader during a 5 day backpacking trip in Pecos, NM where I was responsible for making sure all members had the best possible outdoor adventure as possible, and keeping their spirits up on some of the more difficult times. It was a great learning experience. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, most recently trying my out my ability in painting. I have experience working at Rector Preschool as a teachers aide. I was hired as a temporary summer position, and still occasionally have been called when I am needed. My duties there included supervising the children, cleaning up the rooms, changing diapers, reading, teaching lessons, engaging the children in activities, etc. I spent most of my time in the 2-year-old room, however do have some experience from 3 years- school age. I also Read more baby sit my younger cousins ages varying from 3 mos. - 11 yrs old. I am currently a tutor at Arkansas State University's Academic Success Center.
