I worked for a woman caring for her son from the time he was 5 days old until I moved for school this last summer. While I worked there, she had another baby whom I also cared for. I stayed overnight occasionally. I also worked for a church nursery and watched kids during funerals, weddings, vacation bible schools, and worship services. I love watching kids because seeing them learn and grow up is so incredibly rewarding. I love seeing their potential and having the opportunity to be a part of their lives for even a short amount of time. My mother is a teacher in early childhood development so I have always been exposed to children. I began watching kids when I was 12 and did a few random jobs before being steadily employed by my boss with the two children I mentioned before at 15. I’ve helped potty train, Read more bathe, feed, and teach. I’ve also helped with homework both with the kids I’ve watched and as a tutor after school. I’m motivated and comfortable being left alone with the kids for extended amounts of time. I’m willing to do light housekeeping and run errands.
