I have a Master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas (graduated Dec 2013). I am a Licensed Associate Counselor through the state of Arkansas (A1403052). I have one and a half years of experience as an individual, group, and family psychotherapist with children K-8th grade and one year of experience with children and adolescents in residential mental health facilities. I have had experience in de-escalation of altercations and psychoeducational groups (such as assertiveness skill, anti-bullying, self-harm prevention, etc.). My first jobs were caring for children, beginning when I was able to drive at 16. My first paid job was in the summer of 2005 as a certified life-guard. I also used this certification in the summer of 2006. I have a 7 y/o brother and several cousins of various ages that I have helped care for at a very young age. I love working with children Read more and adolescents, which is why I went into the mental health field and based the beginning of my career in school-based mental health care. My CPR and First-Aid certificates are currently valid. I have a valid driver's license with no reported accidents or traffic violations. Also, I drive a 2014 sedan that is very safe:)
