Having a special needs child affords me the luxury of being able to handle anything. Kids are my passion and caring, teaching & inspiring them is second nature. in college and grad school i was a FT nanny for an officer and FBI agent. Having owned a small business for 17 yrs, I choose to stay home with my son instead of work when I saw he needed me to provide him with extra care. We lost our entire standard of living, but it's been well worth it, just financially difficult. Because I adopted him, my husband & I had to go through a very extensive global background check of every kind to be certified. Having given up work, we now find we're in need of supplemental income. Since my son is gone from 730am to 4pm daily, I have a lot of time on my hands. Due to my Read more husband's self-employment, I can also be flexible for you. The best reason to hire me is simple: I'm a mom, i don't talk on cell or stare at the tv when sitting - I interact with the kids, help with homework & dive into THEIR world! This is rare of sitters, as I know from having had nannies when my son was young; most were there and didn't add to the child/fam life. Your family will be better off for having me work with and inspire the best from your child. Have a difficult child? NO PROBLEM - this is where I excel & have special behavioral training. I have a great work ethic and no job is beneath me. If the garbage is full, I'll empty it. Load of laundry need doing? It'll be done. My last employer described me as the DREAM NANNY. Without sounding arrogant, I am a great candidate for ANY family. Of course, no criminal background, sound transportation and reliable. I treat sitting as a profession, not a PT job to get a check. I'm still close with all those I've worked with since teen/college years. And, I can also tutor, having graduated with honors! Please give me a call. I have tons of energy and ideas and will be the flexible solution your'e looking for. Available all days/hours, emergencies too! Note; my fee is negotiable and depends on # of kids, their individual needs and your budget! If it's a mutual fit, we'll work it out. Also, I will add a photo or send you an email so you can see what i look like :) Don't worry, I look like someone you'd want to care for you and your family. Thank you, Michelle Burns 602-339-4727
