Hi! I am a mother of three children. My children are out of the home now. I love children and miss having mine around. I have worked in the healthcare field for the last 42 years. I am CPR certified and am looking for the opportunity to care for children. In the hospital setting, I have taken care of Pediatric patients ages 5-12 years of age. I have a background check and a fingerprint card. I have had an opportunity to work as a Teacher Assistant for ages 3-4 in a Pre-School. I was a Girl Scout Leader for 3 years for girls ages 6-8 and a Boy Scout Leader for boys age 5. I have taken care of children ages 6 months to age 10. I also owned a dance studio teaching Ballet, Hip Hop, Cheerleading and Gymnastics to children ages 3- 10 until Covid came. I love engaging Read more children in make- believe, arts, crafts, cooking, reading, singing, dancing, games, and outdoor activities. Recently, I have helped Homeschool Mothers with teaching Physical Education to 5 year olds and have volunteered in the Elementary School helping children read & monitoring playground activities. I have taken an additional 30 hours of training of teaching children English as a second language. I have taken care of a Type 1 diabetic child who is insulin dependent. I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable for the care of your child. You can be rest assured that I will take very good care of your child. Safety is key, but having fun engaging activities are equally important. Encouragement is my strong suite with behavior redirection when a child is starting to have a meltdown. I love getting down on the floor to play, read, paint, dance, sing, and prepare snacks for children.
