I am 28 years old and have 3 children of my own, ages 8, 2 and 4 months. I grew up with 5 other siblings so I was always around other children. I've never worked for a childcare establishment but I have looked after friends and friends of friends children. Most recently I watched twin boys (ages 1yr) and two older boys (11 & 7yrs) in their home for 7months prior to having my youngest daughter. I love the curiosity of children and being able to help them learn and grow into themselves. I consider myself to be patient and compassionate. Understanding that kids have bad days just like adults is so important. From watching the twins and now having a toddler and a newborn, multi tasking is my specialty! I'm looking for "here and there" sitting jobs to make some extra money. On weekdays, before 5pm, I would have my kids with me. Evenings and weekends, they can stay with dad.
