I live in South Philly and am a recent transplant from Arizona! For the past five years I have directed the classes and programs for children ages 0-12. I have chosen and trained volunteers on curriculum, crafts, and small group discussions. Children have a variety of learning levels and styles; I get passionate about adjusting our plans to help children learn and grow at their best. We focused a large amount on setting up environments where children can grow in friendships, communication, and personal choices. I was privileged to babysit, short term nanny, and care for many of the children who attend our church. Each summer we would run a sports camp that was open to the community and I was the director. I was also entrusted to take kids each summer to a week long camp about 2 hours away from Flagstaff, AZ as well as over night events Read more in Phoenix which is also 2 hours away. I love kids and really enjoy feeling like part of families. Communicating with parents and having their back on their decisions for parenting brings me great joy!
