Hi there! My name is Kalai and I am a sophomore in college. I am a double major in forestry with a focus on wildlife rehabilitation and biology. Although I am not majoring in education anymore, I have always contemplated making that my career. I grew up with two loving parents who were teachers and throughout my life has shared with me their passion of teaching and caring. I have taken several child development classes. I have assisted my mother and father at their schools in teaching and caring for the children. Moreover, I have 8 years experience with baby-sitting. I have also cared for and looked after autistic children and children with special needs. I have numerous amounts of patience and love to interact and teach children. I grew up as the oldest in my family and am so thankful to have cared for my younger siblings and cousins. Read more I also have tons of experience in caring for animals so if you have pets as well as children, I can attend to their needs and give them some love and attention as well! I have cared for almost any pet imaginable and administered various types of medication. I am familiar with how to care for pets medically and in case of an emergency thanks to working in a vet hospital and with a pet rescue. I worked in boarding and assisted the vets when needed. I am also trained in grooming for pets. I have fostered animals for Lucky Dog Rescue and house sat various kinds of animals and administered medications from shots-IV's-oral-soaks etc. I've also worked with a 4-H group and had to care for my own horse for several years. My life revolves around outmost kindness and caring, doing so makes me truly happy. I love to paint and draw, read and write, hike and climb. I would be more than happy to work with active, creative, and intelligent children or children who like to do it all! Helping them exceed in what they enjoy most.
