I am a mature 30-year-old woman who has several years of experience providing patient, compassionate care and recreational or educational experiences for people of a variety of ages. I have background as a bird biologist and educator/interpreter, and I currently use this experience to provide community bird walks in Flagstaff. I have experience caring for people of a variety of ages in wilderness settings, and am CPR and Wilderness First Responder certified. I am equipped with a first aid kit that allows me to address some emergency and first-aid situations. I am trained to make a detailed patient assessment, diagnosis, to provide basic treatment, and to provide information to emergency professionals. These certifications have trained me how to recognize common health scenarios including blood sugar problems (diabetes), stroke, seizure, shock, poisoning, and allergic reactions, among others.
