Hey! I have worked with kids extensively throughout my career. I started off nannying for a family friend who had a 6-month-old daughter during the summertime. I had various other babysitting and nannying jobs, including a family of three boys ages ranging from 2-10, and nannying during a different summer for a four year old boy. During this time period, I got a job at Boys and Girls Club where I supervised children ages 5-13. I worked here for five years. I attended college and in the summer that I was home, I got a job at a preschool, working with infants up to 13 year olds. After that, my sophomore year of college, I got a job at a different preschool as one of the lead teachers in the pre-k room (ages 4-5). I have gotten CPR certified three times, and have a valid certification currently. My previous job Read more was working in the wilderness with at risk youth and teens. Because of this job, I am certified in NVCPI, which is nonviolent crisis intervention and prevention. I have also been to several epi pen trainings. I love playing with kids outdoors when the weather permits, inspiring creativity, utilizing teachable moments, making learning fun and inspiring, and relying more on imagination than electronics.
