I have 12 years experience caring for children and I am a mom to a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old boy. I started by babysitting when I was 18 and then worked at a daycare. After seeing the lack of care at the daycare I decided to open my own in home daycare and ran that for the next 3 1/2 years. After that I worked at a children's home with children that had been abused or through some form of trauma. I have learned a lot over my years in childcare and seen just about everything imaginable but none of my experience compares to that of becoming a mother.
