Hi! My name is Michele Grijalva and I am a married mother of two amazing kids, a daughter 17 and son 13. I have loved being a mom, it's my favorite name! I am blessed that I have been able to be primarily a stay at home mom for our son and daughter. I had worked part time as a server for 12+ years while raising our kids. But most recently in last 3 years, I started babysitting & nannying... and I love it!! I come to your home where most parents & kids feel comfortable. Besides all my experience of being a mom last 17 yrs, I have babysat my nieces and nephews dating back 25 yrs ago! I love kids of all ages, but really enjoy babies and toddlers bc my own kiddos are all grown up practically! So I miss that age! I really enjoy giving that Read more personal one on one time & attention to the kids I care for. Besides taking care of all their basic and regular needs like meals, bath, diapers, potty training, cleaning up after the kids etc., I love playing with them! Board games, building forts, playing outside, playing pretend, dress up, reading books, coloring, and whatever age appropriate play we can do! And If there is a baby to hold, rock, and cuddle with, then I'm your lady ;) I also love to take the kids on long walks to the park to play, pack picnic lunches, or go to splash pad or swimming parks in summer( if approved by parents.) I can take kids to and from school or activities in my Chevy Tahoe, with your car seats. Of course I will follow any discipline parenting style you want when needed. Most recently I have been a part time nanny/babysitter for the last 2+ yrs for a great family that has two boys. Ages at start time were 14 months and 4 yrs. I did all of the above with the boys and more. But now the boys are both in school full time, so that job ended. :( Now I'm looking for a babysit/nanny job just part time. I prefer 2-4 days a week Mon-Fri and I'm pretty flexible w/ availability of M-F and prefer 15- 25 hrs a week. I also can do date nights Mon- Friday night and some weekends depending on my kids activities. I can provide referrals and references from my last family employer of 2+ yrs, the Allen family.
