I came from a large family of eight children, and I have 3 grown children of my own ( all in their twenties). I have always loved children, and originally became a caregiver to neighborhood children when my own children were in elementary school. It allowed me to earn some extra income while maintaining my commitment to the needs of my own children. I was very involved in the education of my children, they all attended Montessori Schools prior to public school, and it helped to instill a lifelong love of learning for all of them. They have all graduated college with bachelors degrees ( and one Masters of Mechanical Engineering), and are all responsible, and successful working adults. I love to be involved with children, whether it's playing at the park, taking a hike, or reading them a story. While it's nice to also watch a movie, or spend Read more some time on the computer, I believe it's important for children to be active, and exposed to new activities and pastimes. My own children have an age range of 6 years so I truly understand the dynamics of children so close in age. I truly love what I do, and know that I could be an excellent caregiver to your children.
