I am currently going on my third year of being a Red Cross certified lifeguard. Including my lifeguard certification, I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Being a lifeguard has taught me the importance of safety with children. I have two young cousins, one being a special needs child, and they are the reason that I am a baby sitter today. There is nothing better than being able to hang out with kids and also to be someone who they can always look up to. Whether they need help with homework, or need to be read a story, being able to be that person for a child is truly satisfying.
