I am a 31-year-old single woman who loves kids! I have babysat for many years. I am well educated--just finished a master's degree--and have a wide mix of interests and talents that allows me to teach kids a wide variety of fun things and skills, and I love using those interests to help children grow their own. I have substitute taught and babysat up to five kids at a time, and often had all of them teeth brushed, bathed, into bed, prayers said as their parents wanted, happy and comfortable, after a long fun day. I do work during the day, but decided I would like to work a side job Read more in the evenings with children, as honestly, I don't have any kids of my own and I miss and enjoy being around them I am a very good sitter, excellent in emergency situations should any ever arise (CPR trained), good at following whatever instructions parents provide, and believe in leaving the kids I watch wanting me to come back because they enjoyed it. Children really are special, every one of them, and they have brought a lot of light to my life. For more information about me and my abilities, I have a bachelor's in English and a masters in a science field, and I have dabbled in various other fields, including education. I like to cook food from scratch, am very organized and clean, very outdoorsy and knowledgeable about the outdoors, musically talented (I play guitar and sing and do some piano), am an artist in my spare time (paid for graduate school with it), and a very creative person. I like taking care of a wide mix of ages, from little babies to pre-teens and everywhere in between, and can give the nurturing love and attention babies and little children need and the attention, direction, and activities older children want and need to learn and grow. I can promise, I will take care of your children as if they were my own because I know, like all of the children I have watched in the past, I will love them enough it will be a natural part of my care and time with them.
