Over past summers I was a babysitter to a family with three children ranging from 4-8 years old and although it was sometimes challenging handling three kids at once, I had an amazing time with them. I was also a summer tutor/babysitter to another family with three children ranging from 3-9 years old, and because I want to become a teacher this was a great learning lesson for me. I have also volunteered at my old elementary school, Bernard Black Elementary School with first graders, and I also worked with 3rd and 5th grade students. From these experiences I learned how to talk to children and teach as well as make sure they are having fun.
