Not only do I feel qualified as a caregiver/Sitter, I feel honored. All my life I grew up in a household with a solid family base. In addition to growing up in a huge immediate family, I had an ever bigger extended family and a bunch of younger cousins that light up my world! Being the middle child of 5 siblings, really shaped me to be responsible, a leader, and eclectic. I have one older sister, and three younger siblings who happen to be triplets. Two out of the three suffer from minor cognitive disabilities. This has taught me the value of patience, care, and meeting children where they are at and working with them, whether it be behavior wise, learning, or with communication. It is in my DNA makeup to care for others and shine light on the amazing abilities these courageous little people have.
