I am the adult that asks to sit at the "kids table" in family events because I have always found it rewarding to watch children grow and learn. That, and I am a big kid at heart. I am Beth H. I have gone through cosmetology school. I am looking for part-time and/or full time jobs. I was born and raised in AZ and I love to go on field trips, walks and schedule fun activities. I absolutely love to laugh, sing songs, help children learn shapes, colors, letters, numbers, spell, and simply to explore the world around them. I also know, though that there is a time to play and a time to enforce rules. So any rules from parents do not go unnoticed. I am 21 years old, along with being a full time nanny for the last 2 years and trying to make a career out of Read more it, I have several families that call me for date night and random babysitting. I have taken care of kids from newborn to pre-teen and even some with disabilities, or with special needs. Along with the last two years I helped take care of my niece and nephew who are 4 and 1 both from the time they were newborns. I have also volunteered at a camp for kids 2 summers in a row. And worked at sunsplash/golfland for one summer. I also teach children in classes at the church I attend with all different aged kids. I have had several experiences with giving snacks, preparing meals, diaper changing, bottles, mile stones, baths, naps and bed time routines. I prefer to come meet the family at least once before I baby-sit. I think this makes it easier for everyone. I also only live in a apartment so I am only willing to watch kids in your own home. That also seems to be better for the child, though, because they are in there normal environment.   I base my babysitting techniques around: The children being hands on, and if old enough helping me prepare things for a fun learning experience. fun, healthy snacks. little to no tv- who needs tv when they have board games, books, and crafts. (i bring the children things so we always have something fun to do. (and i clean up any mess before I leave) having fun. I love going outside, or being inside either way we are going to have fun.

I'm a mother of Five children and I needed a sitter ASAP and Beth was the one who came through for me at the very last min. Beth arrived at my house 20 mins. Early (PERFECT) for a face to face interview. The moment I opened my door, I felt the welcoming loving presence. Beth came at our house during our peck hours; And connected instantly with all 5 of my children our dog even loved her. Beth is very professional she kept a daily record of all five of my children. From what time they ate, what they ate, school work completed, fun activities and behavior reports. She also has photos of the events that take place so you won't miss a moment. Beth kept me up to date on any and all questions I had while I was gone. Beth has made a true friend in our family. I will always and for ever brag about how great of a sitter she is and was to my children. I will definitely keep her number on speed dial. For myself and for my friends. Will I recommend her? You can count on it :)

Beth is an awesome nanny. She is on time, flexible and consistent. The kids enjoy her company and care. They play board games and do a lot of out door and indoor activities. She is very hands on with them and also finds time to do work around the house. Her organizational skills are amazing and she definitely takes her job seriously. Our family has been blessed to have her. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter / nanny.

Beth started working for us from March to August 2012. She took care of our 4 kids (ages 8, 5, 2 and half, and 15 months). We employed her part time at first and as my husbands hours increased it moved to full time. She would start the day with the kids at 7 am and stayed with the kids until 5 or 6 pm when my husband and I got home She connected with each of the kids at their individual levels and met their individual needs. She very quickly made friends with our 2 and half year old which was difficult. She had school time with the younger kids and would help the older kids with their homework. She was willing to take the kids out to activities through the summer including swim lessons, Bounce U, Libarary, and Arizona Youth Museum to name a few. She was even willing to take the kids to Pre-school RE. She put together a schedule to provide structure for the kids, especially through the summer. She would guide the kids by our rules to re-inforce consistancy. We developed a book that allowed us to keep the kids schedule and daily updates to help us know what happened with the kids through out the day. This provided a record of the kids behaviors and let us know about anything that we needed handle when we got home. She would make the meals for the kids durring the day. She would also do some light housework, especially when I would be on business travel. She was also willing to do the girls hair and help them get dressed up for pictures. Beth was a great addition to our house. Regards, Charles and Connie Soper

Beth is reliable and communicative. She is flexible and she really works with the kids and parents to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. My son is special needs and she was willing and able to learn how to feed him and spend the time it takes for him to eat. Thanks Beth!

Beth is a trustworthy and caring babysitter. She took it upon herself to come meet our family prior to babysitting for us the first time, which put us all at ease. She left a detailed daily report and also followed-up with me via email. She even made sure the kids toys were put away (and most of those were not from when she was sitting). I look forward to having her babysit for us again.
