I have spent my entire life around children, and a big part of it taking care of them. My mom was notorious for taking in other family members children for years at a time. I was 6 when my sister left her 2 kids with my parents and I. From then on we always had children in the house and when I was 13 my parents left me with the little ones when they went out. When I was 12 I was watching my two little cousins (2 and 3), and have watched and worked with kids anywhere from a newborn to 12 years old. I was also a gymnastics coach for 3 years working with students 18mo to 12yo. I love working with kids and teaching kids, it's something to be proud of when they can't wait to see you again, or remember something you taught them. I love Read more babies as well, they are so easily excited and playful! I don't mind a little fuss or a dirty diaper, it's never bothered me.
