I have worked with a childcare center for over 4 years as a lead1-year-old and 2-year-old educator and have recently taken time away from the childcare center setting. I am CPR/First aid certified and possess a fingerprint clearance card. I grew up in a family owned and operated home daycare for 18 years and most of my life has been dedicated to volunteering and spending time in the early educational environment. In my previous setting, I was responsible for the supervision and safety of young children ages 1-2. I have experience working with ages 0-5. I was responsible for communicating with families about the development of their children as well as provide a written report each day in regards to their child's activities and interests. I can implement and teach children about proper hygiene and I am knowledgeable in proper diapering procedures. I can provide developmentally appropriate activities that engage Read more children in understanding the world around them. I am able to prepare meals and handle food for children each day. Previously, I was responsible for monitoring and documenting the developmental progress and differences in children as well as their interests. I am able to do basic cleaning duties such as cleaning and sanitizing toys, washing dishes, and picking up after the children in my care.
