I am a transplanted care-giver in the Phoenix area. I am a children's program developer, specifically working with families who live abroad in different cultural contexts. I have the privilege of working with baby through elementary aged kids and develop their curriculum and events state-side and internationally. Being well traveled, I enjoy going to new places and exploring different cultures and world views. It makes for an adventure with whoever I'm either caring for or spending time with. This could be a new park or a new city, but when I'm in someone's home my goal is to create a safe environment and a creative world to explore wherever we are. I've worked as a nanny/babysitter for the past nine years, and have graduated with my bachelor's degree in Intercultural Relations. Many families I've worked with include corporate couples who need someone very early in the morning for their commute, Read more single parent families, multiple children (2-4), children with specific medical needs/issues, and also families with animals (birds, cats, dogs, lizards). These families have called on me both full-time and occasionally when they want to go on dates, or get away for the weekend. I am certified in CPR and First aid training, have been through many background checks both private and government and am willing when asked to do it again. Although safety is a priority, I enjoy focusing my attention on caring for the kids and making the effort to get to know them and you as parents. Relationships are significant in a child's development and to be intentional, and my strength is more one-on-one and individualized at times with each child, to build trust and free-structure for your child to thrive.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
