I was a live out Nanny to a newborn till she turned 1. My duties included house cleaning, preparing her food, and playing with her, reading to her, From Early Morning till late afternoon. Was a Junior in High School when I worked that job. Worked in a Day Care ages 2 thru 4 prepared snacks, played activities with children, rubbed their backs to help them sleep during nap time.
