I live with my parents and two younger brothers, and I care for children very much. I think the way in which they develop and the experiences they live throughout their childhood is indispensable for the person they are becoming as grown-ups. I've volunteered in orphanages since I was 13 years old, I've worked with two volunteer programs involving poor children in which we had to take the children every Saturday to a different place such as the zoo, the movies, amusement parks, etc. and another one which made the dreams of terminally-ill children come true. The program included visits to the children's houses, accompanying at the hospital. Also, I've been twice CIT (Counselor in Training) for two different summer camps, one in Michigan called Chippewa Nature Center in which I worked with children, ages 3-4 and the other one in Bogota, Colombia called Piragua Day Camp in which I Read more worked with children, ages 6-8 and 10-12. I'm looking for jobs in order to earn money for a trip I want to make this summer while enjoying myself helping children and families!
