One of my greatest joys in life is being able to explore the world through the eyes of a child. It truly doesn’t get more magical than that. I am blessed with many years of experience caring for other’s children.  First and foremost, my duty is keeping your children safe and making you feel secure.  In addition to being an extremely kind and patient caregiver, I am extremely hands on. No child will ever be stranded in front of the TV under my watch. I encourage creativity, mental stimulation and self –esteem by facilitating games, art projects and field trips when applicable. I am a big kid at heart who connects extremely well with children of all ages.  I am looking for a family I can connect and grow with. My Experience: I have more than ten years of experience babysitting children of all ages from infant on up. As Read more a teenager I cared for multiple families and earned the reputation of being the “Mary Poppins” on the block! I always came equipped with games, arts and crafts, toys and head full of creative ideas to explore with my kids.  Additionally, I was a lifeguard for five years and taught swim lessons during that time. The Nanny Being an integral part of a child’s development and understanding of the world has been one of my greatest accomplishments.  I have more than two years of experience being the nanny for two different families.  I have cared for families with multiple children between the ages of infant to 11 yrs. old. My most recent experience is caring for three different families of whom their children ranged from 1 to 9 yrs old. The nine year has autism and  ADHD. My job requirements included: caring for the children, providing transportation after school and to various activities, swimming and diving instruction,  changing diapers,  facilitating crafts, activities and music time, assisting with homework and projects, cooking meals and light cleaning.  Additionally, I took the children on many outing s and fieldtrips. Our adventures included spring training games, hiking, the Desert Museum, pottery painting class, Tucson Children’s Museum, Tucson Rodeo etc.  One of my favorite memories was creating scavenger hunts for the kids with clues to all of our favorite places to visit. “Lala” Family is extremely important to me.  I am the proud Auntie of three beautiful nephews and one niece. (They call me Lala).  Also, I am the Godmother to my 3- year old nephew, Brett who has brought me an immeasurable amount of joy and love in my life. Interesting Notes: I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri. I have worked as an on air reporter/TV anchor/producer etc. at TV affiliates all over the U.S.  After living and working in Arizona for the past four years, I am happy to call Phoenix home-where I plan to stay.  Currently, I produce a television show called “Destination Arizona,” because I am the co-owner of the TV Show, I have enormous flexibility and am able to uphold a nanny position.  I also use my gifts and talents to volunteer for non-profits when I’m able. In the past I’ve held consistent volunteer positions with the Salvation Army and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.  What else? I am a huge animal lover and look forward to meeting your pets!
