My name is Marisa and I moved to Phoenix in 2011 after graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with kids of all ages and abilities since I was 13. I am CPR / First Aid certified and have previously taught special education preschool. I currently teach Kindergarten in the Peoria District. I prefer to engage the children I sit for in activities that involve being outside when possible or doing other hands on/engaging activities. The television/computer/video games are something I try to stay away from at all costs unless it is specified by the parent that the children are allowed to engage in these activities. I do not mind doing light housekeeping if it is requested, but preferably while the kids are napping or down for the night if they're younger as I like keep my full attention on the kids. I also love animals so dogs, cats, bunnies, anything with fur or scales is fine by me. Currently I am only available nights and weekends as I am working full time teaching Kindergarten.
