My name is Kelsey, married for a little more than three years, and I am passionate about children. I have my associates degree in Business from Scottsdale Community College, and currently not enrolled in school but hope to return to further my education in child development and teaching.  I am currently a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister program. I've always loved children, and I love working with them. I am nurturing, understanding and patient with children. I am easy to get along with and enjoy building new relationships. I've taken several child development classes in both high school and college, and also volunteered as a preschool teacher in high school. I have taken a beginners sign language class at SCC as I find it is important to learn other forms of communication. I do not have children of my own at the time, but I do plan on having a family of my own Read more someday. I have seven siblings, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I have two nieces and five nephews. I grew up as a middle child, so I did take care of my younger siblings. I've babysat for many of my relatives and family friends. I've babysat for all age ranges, newborn to 15 years old. I am comfortable caring for any age child.  I love to interact with children in play and in schoolwork. I am willing to help children out with their homework, and will tutor as needed. I enjoy being outside on a nice day, although I am more cautious of pools. I find myself to be creative and I really enjoy doing arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking on my own time. I am willing to answer any questions you may have at the interview.
