I am 55 and live in Sun Lakes/South Chandler. Although I have not been fortunate to be a mom myself, I adore children! I have experience in both child- and adult-care, and much prefer childcare, as I love the reward of seeing children learn and grow. I was recently a Nanny for a little boy, until his parents moved away. I quickly bonded with the family and still keep in touch. I believe in spending quality time with children via developmental activities and play; NOT plopping them down in front of a TV all day. Kids are precious and should be treated as such. I believe in gentle (yet firm) discipline and positive reinforcement. (I watch "Super Nanny" religiously). I have a college degree in Business Administration (graduating with honors with a 4.0 G.PA.), consider myself an artist, have a perfect driving record, do not smoke and am extremely reliable. Read more I was a self-employed Nail Tech for 15 years before working in Child- and elderly-care. I am now "retired", so my schedule is very accommodating. I have over 40 years of experience in childcare, from newborns to early teens. Among my interests are: children, animals, arts and crafts, travel, reading, swimming, snow sports, bicycling, hiking, golf, and photography. I am looking for part time and consistent employment; about 12 to 24 hours a week and 2 to 4 days a week. I can assure you that your child or children will be in the best of hands under my watch; that I will do my best to keep them safe, happy, healthy and nurtured. We were very fortunate to find Patti to care for our son for 9 months! She is very committed and passionate about the children she cares for as was evident through her interactions with our son whenever she was with him. She was very engaging and selected age appropriate play and learning, and was very caring towards our son's needs. I would recommend Patti as either a Nanny or sitter or both, you will not be disappointed!

Patti is a wonderful person to have take care of your kids! She is responsible, punctual, hard-working and FUN! Our kids absolutely loved being with her . . .she is always willing to get down on their level and play. She has a great imagination and ability to hone in on each individual child's needs. I would highly recommend her as a sitter/nanny.

If I could give 10 stars, then Patti would definitely be well deserving of it! Patti and my daughter instantly clicked and my daughter has not stopped talking about her since she first sat with our children (last week). Our baby did well with her too. My son loved Patti immediately. She is warm, caring, engaging and a great teacher as well! Her fondness of children and babysitting is evident from the start. She is very active and kept my son busy for hours!

Patti is a nanny like no other! My girls (1 & 2 years old) fell in love with her right away. Patti is one of the most loving and engaging nannies I have ever seen. She interacts and plays with my girls all day long. She blow bubbles, takes them on long walks, does puzzles, draws, sings songs, and has tea parties. My girls ask if she is coming every morning! She truly is the BEST nanny we have ever had.

Patti was wonderful with our daughter. She is a natural with children and bonded with our daughter right away. Her interactions encouraged developmentally appropriate play and learning. I would highly recommend Patti as a babysitter.
