I am the mother of 4 grown children (32 to 39), and the thrilled grandmother of 8 wonderful grandchildren. My oldest grandson is 13, and the rest are ranging in age from 3 and a half years, to the newest, who is just 5 weeks old. I have been blessed with 7 grandbabies in less than 4 years, and I just love it ! I have always been involved with children, since I was a teenager. I used to babysit and I even used to watch a family of girl triplets who had 3 older brothers. After I got married, I was lucky enough to get to be a at home mom, so lots of times I would babysit at least one other child so I could make some "fun money" As my own kids got older I worked as a substitute teacher in a pre-school, and later I worked Read more in a home-daycare/preschool where I actually got to follow a program and experience helping kids with learning the alphabet, numbers,colors and things like that. For over the last 20 years I have worked strictly as a nanny watching children in their own homes. I have been the nanny to children from the ages of 6 weeks to 10 years. I have only taken a couple ECE classes, but I have lots of experience and I always am reading articles on children and things pertaining to them. I try to keep on top things that way. I have taken CPR classes and First-Aid. I am Trustline verified and I have been background checked, and I plan on doing that again to keep it current. I am semi-retired so I am looking only to work part time. I love children of all ages, but infants are my passion. I would love to find a family who is looking for someone to tend their baby for a few days or hours a week, but I am also open to weekend, or date-nite babysitting so parents can get out for some one on one, alone time.
