I am a high school graduate (as of May 2015) and am looking forward to attending medical school in the near future. Since I plan on specializing in pediatric medicine, I have been caring for and nurturing children to familiarize myself with their general behaviors and personality traits. During this time, I have come to understand that my role as a babysitter is to provide a "trustworthy, secure physical and emotional base from which the children conduct their reaching out into the world, and to offer them appropriate stimulation to grow" as children are "largely self- motivated and self-directed in their development. They are naturally social, and naturally intelligent. They seek out tasks to develop their own skills" [UCLA Child Development Program]. With this in mind, I believe I will not only be able to provide your children the quality care they require to succeed in their future endeavors, but Read more also prepare myself for offering exceptional medical services to children across the globe.
