I have worked with children (both special needs and not) for most of my professional working experience. In high school I volunteered at baseball, basketball and golf clinics teaching boys and girls ages 4-16 fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork. While attending ASU getting my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology I provided Respite/Habitation for a Pediatric care center here in the Valley. I worked with special needs children and young adults ages 3-22, teaching them life skills, helping with their different therapies, helping with homework, picking them up at school or therapy and taking them home or to somewhere else in their community among many other responsibilities. A little about myself, I love to hike with my dog, practice yoga, go to the gym and play basketball when I get a chance. I try and live a healthy lifestyle and am teaching myself how to grow Read more a garden that I can use it's harvest into my diet. I also love going to see live music and just trying to enjoy life as much as possible. I plan on furthering my education with a Master's in either School or Educational Psychology.
