I have always loved children and caring for them. I started babysitting at 13, like most young teens. I went one step further and found a babysitting course at a hospital in Ohio, where I gained so much knowledge. Then at 21, in 2005, I moved to AZ . Still knowing I wanted to work with children I returned to school at CGCC for early childhood development. Once there I made the decision to join the transfer program to ASU and pursue speech pathology degree. I am currently attending ASU, pursuing a Family and Human Development degree, while having taken many courses in child development. While still attending CGCC I completed over 50 hours of service learning in grades pre-k to 6th grade. I also was involved in a work study program and became a reading tutor at San Marcos Elementary. I visited 6 different classrooms K-2nd for 3 months. Read more It was one of the most amazing experiences. Through those experiences I had to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. I have also been CPR trained and ABA certified. Currently, I am an after school nanny for two; ages 5 and 4. This August will mark 2 years that I have been with the family. I love them and have become a part of their family. As of now I am only with them every Tuesday starting at 3:30pm.
