My name is Cecilia and I currently work as a Special Education Parapro at a fantastic charter school in town. My job is to teach Common Core Standards as well as act as a guide and support system for students during the school day. I work with grades 1st through 3rd, though I often fill in as an "After School Teacher" for a variety of grades. I love my job, and it really pays to be as patient as I am! Any situation can be worked through if you just talk to and listen to the children you're working with. I'm working on getting my Special Education Degree and I'm looking for some summer work while school is out. I am very flexible and I'm comfortable in lot of situations. I'm also great with pets! Big dogs, little dogs, cats, snakes, etc., anything is fine with me.
