Parents have a favorite babysitter too. Someone who is dependable, punctual, responsible, and genuinely enjoys what they are doing. I offer over four years of childcare experience, ranging from babysitting my nieces and nephews, working as a student teacher, a tutor, and a healthy eating cooking instructor. In that capacity, I've enjoyed discovering ways to inspire children's innate curiosity, enable their need to express themselves as individuals, and to foster respect and trust, while also establishing boundaries and expectations. On a personal note, I recently moved back to California from New York City, where I'm a writer working on my first novel. I am applying for babysitting situations because I believe that in addition to my skills and experience, working with children not only sparks the creative side in me but also reminds me that the act of being creative is one of the joys in life.
