Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am a twenty-five year old Bay Area native. For five years I worked for the City of Alameda in the Recreation and Parks Dept. I began working for the city as a Recreation Leader and was eventually promoted to Recreation Specialist. As a Specialist, I was running an after school site with about 60 child participants ages kindergarten - fifth grade. I completed my B.S. degree at Arizona State University in Dec. 2014 and returned home to the Bay Area. Upon moving back, I found employment at a start-up company in San Francisco. However, after about a year and a half this company went out of business. Which has prompted me to make a career change and get back to what I enjoy the most. My passion has always been working with children and I have decided to pursue full-time and part-time baby Read more sitting. I also have personal experience in working with and understanding individuals on the spectrum due to my sister having Asperger's Syndrome. Which I believe helps me work with diverse populations and understand the compassion needed to do so. My main goal is to make a positive impact in children's lives and help them laugh along the way.
