Hello there! My name is Meghan Perkovich and I am currently attending my second year at Diablo Valley Community College. In addition to completing my studies, I stay busy by spending lots of time outdoors with my pups, hanging with my family and working as a part-time babysitter. I started babysitting eight years ago at the age of twelve. Ever since then I have had a love and passion for learning, teaching, and growing with kids. At the age of 13 I was CERT certified in CPR and safety awareness. CERT stands for The Community Emergency Response Team. Their job is to educate citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that could potentially impact their area. I found it crucial to have this knowledge under my belt when working with children. My childcare experience consists of children between the ages of 1-19. My responsibilities include light meal preparation, light-heavy cleaning and Read more laundry, various odd jobs but most importantly, fulfilling all the needs a child may have. With every different child I look after, I make sure that safety is a priority. I am also experienced in doing extended overnight stays up to three days. I am currently looking to secure a second position as either a nanny or babysitter. I am attending DVC this fall so I hope to find something that can work out for both parties.
