I am 25, almost 26, and I am the third oldest of 8 kids. I started babysitting four of my five younger siblings when I was 14. However, I started getting paid to watch other people’s kids around 2012. Since then I have babysat for a family of three boys occasionally, then another family of two boys once. I have also watched a little girl 2-4 time a week for a year from 2016-2017 and also drove another little girl to school Monday-Friday for a couple weeks in that same time period before I realized it was too far. I have two kids of my own and one of which I was able to bring with me while I babysat for each of those families. I have a four year son and a three month old daughter. This has given me 24/7 hands on experience with every age from newborn Read more to four years old. I am actually looking for another position that would allow me to bring my three month old daughter along while I babysit. I know this isn’t for every family and that’s okay. I know, as a parent myself, that if you’re paying someone to watch your kid, you want your kid to be their number one priority. I completely understand that and I always give my full attention to the child I am being paid to look after. My baby loves being in the baby carrier and sleeps a lot when she’s there so I don’t have to worry about her doing anything to distract me from your child. I can also prepare light meals and snacks and I enjoy cleaning. I also have my own car and a clean driving record. If there is anything else you’d like to know about me, please feel free to ask.
