My love and care for children is lifelong. In addition to babysitting for neighbors and family as a young person, I worked at a preschool while I received a childcare certificate in high school. I love the fact that I was the preferred sitter for, my niece and nephews. We have fun, we create, we learn, read and do homework. Most importantly we maintain great communication, trust, and support into the sometimes rough teenage years. My BA is in Political Science, but I also took many classes in early childhood education for my own experience. I tutored students of all ages for 5 years, primarily elementary and middle school students. And I believe that playing is the primary job of young children and is vital to their learning and development. Essentially children are the most amazing human beings on the planet.
