I live in Anaheim, Ca and I have lived there for 22 years. I live close to the city of Stanton and Buena Park. I love being a child care provider because I love working with children. Everyday is a new experience with them. They do things that make you love being around them. I am a mother of 3 children. A 5 year old boy, a 3 year old girl, and a 1 year old boy. I have watched over infants starting at 2 months and children up to 12 years. And I have also watched over school age children of 5-12 years. I have 8 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units. As well as Child development classes. I have also worked for two different after school programs for a total of 4.5 years. I have watched over children for many years. I have watched over family members and I Read more have worked with different families. Families I have worked for: *I worked for a family in Irvine for 14 months, I watched over 2 children one was 2 months when I started and the other one was 14 months. When I first started, I watched over then while their mother or father was upstairs working. Slowly with time I watched over them while their mom and dad went on date night, or grocery shopping, or running errands. *Another family I worked for, I watched over a 14 month old girl, when my son was 8 months. I would take my son with me when I would watch the girl. I watched over her for about 10 months. I’d prep food for her, play with her, take her for a walk around her apartment complex, and fold her clothes if necessary. Recently I began watching over her again when her parents go out on date night. *For almost 2 years (22 months) I watched over 2 girls. I began watching them when the little one was 2 months and the oldest was 2 years. I’ve watched them for 6 hours up to 12 hours a day. I would make them breakfast/lunch/dinner depending on the time, I would give them snacks. I’d take them to the park or for a walk. I’d give them a bath. I potty trained both of them. I put them down for naps and even put them down to sleep some days. My dietary lifestyle and my religion would not interfer with my duties as a child care provider. I do go to the farmers market every week, and can provide fresh fruits and vegetables. I do not have a specific sitting philosophy. I tend to usually do what the parent(s) instructs me to do. I love to go for walks with the children and be outside with them.
