I have a tremendous love of children and was so fortunate to be employed in the perfect spot, a local elementary school for 20 years. Although I worked for the administrators I also covered the school office and attended to children and parents as needed. I soothed many little ones with sick tummies or applied the trusty bandage while dabbing away tears. I spent many lunch periods working with any child needing that bit of extra attention in reading or just making him/her feel special. I raised two great children and have 5 fantastic grandchildren but they no longer live in the Redding area and I am retired and really missing kids! I enjoy helping with school work or planning an outing in the park; a fun visit to Barnes and Noble or the library, a hike along the river trail or perhaps a visit to the pet store along Read more with arts and crafts projects. These are some of the weekly outings i regularly planned with my own grandchildren and I would love to do the same types of things for your children as well.
