I have been in the field of Human Resources for the past 20 years and I am looking to get out of the corporate world and to make a positive change for myself. I have volunteered for 2 elderly women for the past 4 years-running errands, taking them to doctor's appointments, making phone calls for them, etc. I had a Nanny job for an 18-month-old, very active boy for 6 months in 2015 but the Grandmother became available and has taken over the care of him. Therefore, I am back in the job market and would love to find another Nanny position. I enjoy kids and not only caring for them but teaching them as well. Other responsibilities that I have had while being a Nanny was meal preparation for the family as well as some light housekeeping. I highly believe in stimulating the kids by doing different things-not just Read more sitting in front of a TV. I enjoy the outdoors, playing games, reading, music, crafts, etc. I was also a single mom who raised her son alone since he was 6 years old. He is now 21 and serving our country in the Navy. He has grown up to be a fine young man. I enjoy being a part of a child's life and watching them grow.
