I have a master's degree from Loma Linda University under their Child Life Specialist program. Under this program, I was taught to work with children with special needs, specifically medical needs in the hospital. I have clinical internship, practicum and volunteer experience in the hospital with medically fragile children of all ages. I have bachelor's degree in child development from University of La Verne. I had 180 hours of student teaching with preschoolers, and an 80 hour practicum with toddlers. I have a certification in infant massage techniques, and can teach parents how to connect with their baby through massage. Certification is through the Loving Touch Foundation. I also am very creative and artistic, and I integrate play and art into many of the activities I engage in with the children.
