Hello! I have been babysitting and nannying for family and friends for years. My mom has worked as a preschool/daycare teacher for 7 years and I have been one of the go-to people to call for babysitting jobs. I also worked full time during the Summer of 2013 and off and on as a substitute since then, at that preschool. My mom volunteered for the elementary school in our town and recommended me to many families that needed a babysitter. I also have two younger sisters that I babysat until they were old enough to take care of themselves. Lastly, for six Summers, I volunteered a week or two at Camp Arequipa for children aged 4-15, facilitating them through activities like archery, outdoor cooking, arts projects, and fire making. I have had quite a bit of experience babysitting and working with children of all ages and I think I would Read more be a very good person to give a call if you need some care for your kids! I have just moved to Arcata from Point Reyes Station, just north San Francisco. I will be a student at HSU in the Fall studying environmental science, but I have decided to move up here early to find my place in the community and start working. I am very outdoors oriented, preferring to spend as much time under the sun or clouds as possible. I am constantly working to make my lifestyle a bit more sustainable everyday. I also have a friendly and calm persona which children usually feel very comfortable around. I really hope you consider me!
