I am currently living on the west side of Detroit working as a campaign organizer for a local social activist group. I have an extensive background working with kids between the ages of 9-16. For the past six summers I have worked at Tamarack Camps, an overnight summer camp that fosters self-growth. While being on the clock 24hrs a day, my top priority was to keep campers safe. I am CPR and Advanced Wilderness First Aid certified. Throughout my time as a college student and recent grad, I babysat for multiple families. I have experience working with families that range from having multiple children to just one. I have cared for children as young as 6 months to as old as 16.
