My career in youth work and caregiving began as a teenager, when I provided care for twin toddlers for during summer break. Since then, I have been a camp counselor for youth leadership programs, a private and class music instructor, and an after school program teacher for children grades K-8. My variation of experiences working professionally with youth has endowed me with a genuine sense of fun and exploration balanced by my calm and assertive demeanor. Outside of the professional setting, I frequently care for a middle school boy with autism. I am comfortable with setting and maintaining boundaries while providing high quality care and nurturance. I can also cook and provide tutoring/music lessons if desired.
